Our Over 65s Walking Football Team is one of the most active and successful squads within Blackpool Senior Seasiders. Bringing together players from across Blackpool, Fleetwood, Lytham St Annes, Poulton-le-Fylde, Thornton-Cleveleys, Preston and the wider Fylde Coast, the team offers both recreational and competitive opportunities for older footballers who still enjoy the game.
Many of our players have been involved in football throughout their lives, while others discovered walking football after retirement. Whatever your background, our Over 65s squad provides a welcoming environment where players can improve their fitness, enjoy regular exercise and remain part of a thriving football community.
Competitive Walking Football for Over 65s
The Blackpool Senior Seasiders Over 65s squad regularly represents the club in regional and national walking football competitions. The team competes in league fixtures, cup competitions and friendly matches throughout the year against clubs from across Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Yorkshire and beyond.

Our sessions are suitable for players returning to football after many years away from the game, including those who are completely new to walking football.
