Development of Common Edge Community Sports Village
Common Edge Community Sports Village was developed between 2021 and 2023 as part of a major investment in sport and infrastructure in Blackpool. The project transformed the former site into a modern, high-quality sports facility serving the local community.
Since opening, the venue has become home to a wide range of grassroots and community football activities, including regular walking football sessions delivered by Blackpool Senior Seasiders.
Today, the facility provides a high-standard environment for players of all ages, supporting both recreational participation and competitive football across the Fylde Coast.

Blackpool Senior Seasiders Walking Football Club have Over 50’s, Over 60’s, Over 65’s, Over 70’s and Over 75’s Teams who train every week with regular competitive fixtures.
