Blackpool Senior Seasiders are hosting a special mini walking football competition at Common Edge Community Sports Village tonight, featuring our Over-65s, Over-70s and Haslingden Ladies.
Why are Haslingden Ladies involved? Four members of their squad have previously represented the Seasiders’ Over-70s and Over-75s at Heywood. Before they receive their medals alongside our players, we thought it would be fitting—and good fun—for them to play against us rather than with us!
Following the competition, everyone will head to South Shore Cricket Club for a small presentation ceremony. Our league-winning Over-70s squad will be presented with their trophies and medals in recognition of their excellent season.
Come along to Common Edge, enjoy the football and support the players. Spectators are very welcome and admission is free.
Date & Time: Thursday 23 July 2026, 8pm kick-off
Venue: Common Edge Community Sports Village, Division Lane, Blackpool FY4 5FH
Afterwards: Trophy presentation at South Shore Cricket Club
