Seasiders Head off to Morecambe for Friendly

The Seasiders headed off on tour up the coast to face Morecambe Walking Football Club on April 28th. The format was two friendly 7-a-side games for each team. played as 3-touch.

An excellent morning of WF shared with our very pleasant hosts from just up the coast.
Fielding a very mixed aged pairs of teams ranging from 62-81 the Seasiders played well in all 4 games.

Good company a great buffet served afterwards and new friends made. We look forward to the return later in the year at our place.

Our Terry Adams scored a belter with his left foot to win our 1 game, but sadly his better half was busy playing on his phone and missed it.

With over 100 members, Blackpool Senior Seasiders Walking Football Club holds regular weekly recreational sessions at Common Edge Community Sports Village (Tuesdays 4-5pm and Fridays 1-2pm), as well as competing in Over 50s, Over 60s, Over 65s, Over 70s and Over 75s regional and national league and cup competitions.

All recreational sessions are expertly refereed and organised and followed by tea and biscuits.
