Jessica Andrews from Lancaster University needs our help for a very interesting research project. Please have a read through, and if you’re interested, please contact her.
Are you aged 60–80 and interested in helping with research on sport and the brain?
Lancaster University is running a study looking at how contact sports exposure might affect how the brain processes sound as people get older. We’re looking for men aged 60–80 who either regularly played team contact sports (like football or rugby), or who have never regularly played contact sports.
Taking part involves one visit to Lancaster University (up to 3 hours) for simple listening tasks while we see how the brain responds, plus wearing a small pedometer for one week afterwards. You’ll receive shopping vouchers as a thank you.
If interested or want to know more, please email Jessica at: j.r.andrew@lancaster.ac.uk
