More luck for Blackpool Senior Seasiders at this week’s gathering of the elder statesmen of North west Walking Football. Down to just 7 squad players for the day we saw a good return of points compared with the last 2 sessions, and a couple of surprises along the way.
Blackpool 0 BBSC A 0
Blackpool 0 BBSC B 0 (upgraded to a 1-0 win due to BBSC playing an ineligible player)
Blackpool 0 Rochdale 0
Blackpool 0 Preston 0
Blackpool 0 Tameside 3 (we ran out of steam and were down to 4 and 2 x 1/2 fit players by this last game).
League table
Rochdale 30
Preston 27
Tameside 26
BBSC B 15
Blackpool 12
BBSC A 8
WE are struggling to raise a team for next time though due to injuries, hoildays, family commitments and retirements. ANy volunteers to help us fulfill the fixtures would be appreciated.
