Run by Neil Martin and Duane Playforth, our ‘Dome Team‘ is made up of Over 50’s and Over 60’s Players and competes in the Dome on Sundays at Poolfoot complex.
The Series will play FA walking Football Rules.
We have been successful in securing changing facilities, however showering facilities are proving more problematic due to having minors on site.
FTFFC will be responsible for providing referees for each Round.
There will be a Trophy supplied for the Runners up and for the winners of the series.
All 4 teams must be present at the end of the Final round in March for the presentation.
Discipline
We want the league to be played in a friendly atmosphere so with this in mind the following rules will apply.
- Referees and opponents must always be respected.
- No foul or abusive language
- Any player guilty of violent, threatening, or abusive behaviour will be expelled from the league.
- Any player receiving a straight red card will play no further part in that matchday and cannot be replaced with a substitut[e]. The player will also be banned from the next match day.
- To try and reduce the amount of running, both on and off the ball the Referees will from now on be firmer with both running and foul play (Challengers and conduct issues).
- The player’s numbers will be recorded by the referee. Once an individual player receives 3 warnings then that player will be suspended from the game for 4 minutes. At half time the warnings will reset to zero for all players.
