During half-time of the Premier League fixture between Fulham F.C. and West Ham United F.C. on Wednesday 4th March 2026, the Fulham FC Foundation hosted a live demonstration of walking football on the famous Craven Cottage pitch.
It provided a rare opportunity for walking football players and referees to step onto the historic playing surface. Normally, supporters only get the chance to play on the pitch at the end of the season before it is replaced, making the occasion a truly special experience for everyone involved.
The session was organised and led by Greg Dalmar, founder of Walking Football Caribbean, as part of ongoing efforts to promote and develop the sport. Seasider’s player Laurence Berry is a regular member of the Caribbean International Walking Football Over 60’s team.
