Blackpool shared a great game with Blackburn Rovers away and secured a 4-2 victory.
Led by Captain Marvel Chris Moody who scored a hat trick and got an assist with a brilliant cross to Ian Stewart to finish superbly from an acute angle.
Nick Carter scored a “ghost goal” that wasn’t given despite clearly crossing the line and then bouncing out from those stupid moving mechanisms that are too near the posts.
A travelling Army of two Ultras, Bob Day and Club Chairman Les Turner were rewarded with some sparkling football.
Nick Cunliffe and Joe Bannister were immense in defence, Chris Moody, lan Stewart, Nidge Raynor and Danny Nye all did the business across midfield and the Master Nick Carter up top was Majestic.
A Magnificent start to the season and Andy Smith a proud Manager today as always.
